It was a success!

On behalf of the students from Camosun College, as well as the staff from Community Micro Lending, we want to thank each and everyone of you for coming out to celebrate our 6th Birdthday. It was a wonderful evening and because of your participation in the event, you helped us to raise a total of $6000 for the programs that Community Micro Lending provides to the people of Victoria.

Congratulations to CML entrepreneur Stephanii for paying off her loan! We spoke to her recently about her micro lending experience and here is what she had to share:

"Working with CML was an important step for starting out my small business venture. Besides the actual loan, I really appreciated the sense of community they encouraged both within the organization as well as throughout the local general public.

Our entrepreneurs are on the move!

Deadbeetz food truck, owned and operated by CML entrepreneur Karrie, has moved to a permanent summer location at Newcombe Square directly behind the Royal BC Museum.
